Our Story

Our Story

You might be wondering why an Asian family like ours is running a seafood boil restaurant. Indeed, this type of food is not traditionally part of Asian cuisine, but there’s one thing that definitely resonates with us: family and friends eating together.

At Crawfish King, You Become Family

I grew up in a family where everyone worked hard day and night, handling multiple jobs to make ends meet. Despite that, what you could always count on every weekend were the family gatherings. Our house would be full of conversations and laughter from family and friends. Of course, none of this could have happened without plenty of food. Even when we were tired, we would still put our last bit of energy to cook up batches of food for the weekend. “Enough” for us meant everyone was able to take some home too.

Naturally, the seafood boil was the perfect preparation for these gatherings. With my years of culinary training and work, I started researching and learning more about this new cuisine, traveling to Louisiana and Texas to experience it first hand. The more I learned, the more I fell in love with the culture of it, both for its unique flavors and for the way it's meant to be shared among many. When the opportunity came to run a seafood boil restaurant in our hometown, we had to take it. The rest is history.

Nothing makes us happier than seeing a group of people enjoying our food so come share your good times with us!
